Microsoft made Business Standard with Copilot (23.50 USD/user/month) and Business Premium with Copilot (32 USD/user/month) permanent SKUs on 1 July 2026, for 1 to 300 seats.

Why It Matters

Copilot for small business is no longer a limited-time promotional add-on bolted onto a handful of power users at roughly 30 USD extra per head. It's now a standard, durable line in the Business Standard and Business Premium price lists, and the Premium bundle is priced to undercut buying Defender for Business, Intune, and Entra ID P1 separately.

What To Do About It

If you're under 300 seats and still paying for Copilot as an add-on, or holding off because it felt experimental, ask your CSP or Microsoft rep for a like-for-like quote against the new permanent Business Premium with Copilot SKU. Annual billing is required to get the bundled rate, so time any renewal around your fiscal year, not the calendar year.
