Poland's KSeF e-invoicing exemption for sales under 10,000 zloty a month has no grace period: the invoice that pushes you over the line must go through KSeF immediately.
Why It Matters
Most VAT-registered firms have been mandatory since 1 April 2026, but a transitional rule lets anyone billing under 10,000 zloty gross in a calendar month keep issuing paper or plain PDF invoices until the end of 2026. There is no buffer: the moment that month's running total crosses 10,000 zloty, the invoice causing the breach must itself be a structured KSeF invoice, not the next one.
What To Do About It
If your monthly billing sits near the 10,000 zloty line, have your accountant flag the month before it happens, not after. Confirm your invoicing software or KSeF client is already configured and tested, since finding out mid-month that it isn't is how a firm ends up issuing a non-compliant invoice by accident.
