What people ask before they book
Does everyone need Copilot?
No. Start with a few people who read and write a lot, and extend after a month, once you can see who uses it.
Will our data train the models?
Microsoft states that Microsoft 365 Copilot data is not used to train foundation models and stays within the Microsoft 365 service boundary.
Free Copilot Chat or paid Copilot?
Copilot Chat comes with Microsoft 365 at no extra cost, but it does not work across company mail and documents the way a paid Microsoft 365 Copilot licence does. I show which one a given team needs.
Does the training help with the EU AI Act?
Since 2 February 2025, companies using AI must make sure their staff have sufficient AI literacy (Article 4). Copilot training helps meet that duty.
